Ah, Goodman. If someone was to ask me cold “where can I get the best rib eye in London”, there’s a pretty good chance I’d be sending them to Goodman. With a location just off Cheapside in the City, unfussy service and a down-to-earth setting, there’s a lot to be said for this place…

STK is a popular and trendy restaurant ‘chain’ in the US, and the London restaurant opened a few years ago at the trendy ‘ME’ London hotel by Melia. The restaurant is known for its good quality steaks, modern decor and music. It’s located on Aldwych by The Strand.
Le Relais de Venise, known commonly as “L’Entrecôte” has a few restaurants in London and internationally. It’s famous for its non-existent menu, cheap price, tiny tables, and, most importantly – the second helping of steak and chips. I visited the city branch for lunch on a weekday.
